NOAH Feel good food & so much more
In the Ghent Docklands floats Noah’s ark: a lunch and late-night aperitif bar on the water. On board, you will be regaled with tasty home-made dishes and a panoramic view of the Handelsdok, stretching all the way from the Muide to the Dampoort. The perfect hideout for dreamers, loners and romantics. Let the deluge come!
A boat for friends
Noah is for peace-seekers. You can find cosy spots for one or two, or pull up a chair at the communal table. While in the summer it is often all hands on deck, on winter days you will find a cosy and intimate hang-out. Of course, true sailors can enjoy the bracing wind on the upper deck all year round—with a wood fire and blankets. This dining boat was converted by houseboat residents Sigrid Hubloux and Inge Staelens. The interior designer and former TV director and their team welcome you to their home like friends.
Coffee & aperitif
Roasted sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas, fresh horseradish & dill dressing, spicy meatballs… They’re all there. You can eat to your heart’s (or stomach’s) content from the house salad buffet. Another staple on the menu are the ‘croques’ (toasted sandwiches) with a twist, such as the sourdough and blue-cheese option. Or you can warm your hands around a bowl of soup or pasta. Standout snacks such as Berloumi (an alternative to Halloumi) and vegetable tarts are sourced from the neighbours. A varied menu that focuses on fresh and healthy food!
Work & play
Those who work on the move are always welcome on board: free Wi-Fi and sweet treats guaranteed! For those who want Noah all to themselves, the boat can be booked for friends, colleagues or special guests on weekends and Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday evenings. A unique setting for any event.
